Phoenix Football.

This makes me cringe.

Soren wouldn't take his hands off of Emily. Emersen is walking with them.

Yesterday was Logan's last game of the season. I am very proud at the work that Logan put into football and the progress he has made. I sit there and watch them play and my stomach hurts every time I hear their helmets crack. I am not cut out to be a football Mom.

This is Anna's friend Amaris.

Amaris's sister Sateva. It was so dang cold out and all the girls had on was short sleeve shirts and shorts. Crazy girls.

Logan's friend Reece broke his collar bone and couldn't play the last couple of games. He wasn't very happy about it.

Richard is # 24. Another one of Logan's friends.

I love this shot of Logan. He is watching the game so intently.

Logan doing some blocking or what ever he was doing. I don't know football.

Emily and Soren are in the same class this year. Richard is Emily's big brother #24. Soren is so cute with Emily.

Life is great.

Father, We Thank Thee.

For flowers that bloom about our feet,
Father, we that Thee,
For tender grass so fresh and sweet,
Father, we thank Thee,
For the Song of bird and hum of bee,
For all things fair we hear or see,
Father in Heaven, we thank Thee.

For blue of stream and blue of sky,
Father, we thank Thee,
For pleasant shade of branches high,
Father, we thank Thee,
For fragrant air and cooling breeze,
For beauty of the blooming trees,
Father in Heaven, we thank Thee.

For this new morning with its light,
Father, we thank Thee,
For rest and shelter of the night,
Father, we thank Thee,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends,
Father in Heaven, we thank Thee.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

At the Dunow house we have been going through the yucky bugs. We all start to feel better then something else comes up. I was getting pretty burned out on it all. Saturday I drove the kids up to this place that Troy was doing some Scouting stuff. While I was there I watched the kids all play and be one with nature. I sat and watched Logan help cook for the leaders and was amazed how grown up he is. I am so proud of the person he is. Being in a place that our Heavenly Father has created for us, I was overwhelmed how blessed Troy and I are. I am the luckiest gal to have Troy.

All I needed was to sit back, take a deep breath and look around me. The beauty and fresh air around me is what I needed to put things into perspective. Life is great.

Mooooooo.

While we were out at Baca Ranch yesterday the kids wanted to go take a look at the cows. So I walked with the kids until we found them. Soren and Olivia stood and Mooed at them. It was so cute to watch them call the cows.

Hey Mom. We're calling the cows!

Oh Nellie, they're mooing back.

Sweet thangs.

We took pictures of the kids too.

I was trying to relax. With kids and dogs in the house there is no such thing as relaxing but it is all worth it.

Something caught their attention.

Our beautiful Izzie Girl. I think she was actually smiling at us.

Molly Mae. This is her typical Diva attitude she gives us. Much more of a drama queen than the other dogs.

Doesn't Fred just have the yummiest face ever. He is such a snuggle bug. He wants attention all the time and there are 5 kids in the house always willing to give it to him.

I thought I would put some pictures of the dogs up so you could see how big they are getting. Their personalities are so funny and we are enjoying them so much. They have wrecked my herb garden, chewed up dozens of things, eat tons of food yet we still love them. I was talking about the dogs there not my kids. Although the kids have done all of the above too, yet we still love them. Our house is busy, crazy, loud and most of the time messy. It is a good thing we love eachother.
