Little Miss Muffet's hospital stay

Not very happy!

I think that Troy was zoning out over cartoons. How funny.

She was happy just eating Popsicles.

Olivia had her Tonsils and adenoids removed on the 24 th. She had some great nurses and a fabulous doctor. The anesthesiologist that took care of her was so good. He carefully explained everything to us and answered all our questions. Her oxygen levels stayed in the 90's so that means that she won't have to be on oxygen at night anymore. She will go in for another sleep study in 6 weeks to make sure everything is all right. Olivia has been somewhat happy since she got home. The medicine wears off and she gets very unhappy. Overall the experience has gone really well. I know there were a lot of prayers for her and I thank everyone.

Grandma and Grandpa Fowler came down from Utah to help us out while Olivia was in the hospital. Troy was able to stay with me and Olivia the whole time. It made things a lot easier for me. It was also very comforting for Olivia to have her daddy with her. I am pretty sure Mom and Dad were exhausted by the time they went home. Thanks Mom and Dad for your help.

I have to give a shout out to Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque New Mexico. They were busy and completely full and still did a great job taking care of our little girl and making her feel comfortable.

The Dunow Young Marines

Anna is showing them what she is made of!

Logan is playing the wounded.

Soren is being on of the Young Marines.

Running Laps. Yes- Soren is keeping up with them

A very funny picture of Logan. This will haunt him forever.

Taking commands during physical training.

Three of our 5 kids belong to the Enchanted Hills Young Marines. Logan just got promoted to Lance Corporal, Anna is Private First Class and Ella is a recruit. Troy volunteers as a parent helper. Soren wishes he could be a YM. Today Troy took Soren as a treat and boy was he excited. He tried so hard to keep up with the rest of the kids. The program has done wonderful things for the kids. Anna used to be so shy and introverted. Now she has come out of her shell and wants to be involved with everyone else. It teaches the kids respect, self discipline, service and hard work. The leaders here are great and they run a good program. It really is to bad that more kids don't get involved with the program. Grandpa Fowler is visiting from Utah, so he was able to take some pictures for me.

Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet, sat on her tuffet eating her curds and whey.
Down came a spider and sat down beside her,
and frightened Miss Muffet away.

Grandma and Grandpa Fowler have come down to help me out while Olivia has her surgery. She is having her tonsil and adenoids out Tuesday morning. I am so thankful they are here because I am stressed out. I have been sick, so I am not getting anything done. Today my Mom and I dressed Olivia up as Little Miss Muffet and took pictures. She also video taped it while Olivia said the poem. Ever since Olivia was born I have called her Little Miss Muffet. Mom found a plate at a antique shop that has a picture of the Nursery Rhymed on it. IT looks just like Olivia. When we go through more pictures of it I will try to post some more.

Pine Wood Derby

Troy's dream come true... to see us both in scout uniforms.

Twinkie and Oreo cars.

The boys waiting to get their awards.

Some of the boys racing.

Last night was my first Pine Wood Derby as the new Cub Master. I felt awful last night and my voice was almost gone, so I could not talk loud. Besides me feeling sick the boys had a really good time. The other leader and Troy did most the work. They were great help. After the racing they all got to make their own derby desert.

Izzie girl

Our Izzie is just the funniest thing. She sits on the couch like a person would. Sometimes I will catch her rearranging the pillows to suit her.

ART IN YOUR HEART

Last night was the Art in your Heart for the kids school. Anna, Ella and Soren all go to the same school right now. This was a night for the kids to show off their art work. The classrooms also put themed baskets together to raffle off. It was crazy, crowed and we had a crying baby. Needless to say, I did not have a whole lot of fun. I guess the whole point of the night was for the kids to feel special.

Would you like to go to a concert with me?

The roses Troy brought to me for our17 year first date anniversary.

Yesterday the 11 th of February was the anniversary of our first date. Troy was living with his uncle and aunt in my ward at the time. I had already decided that I was going to marry him and was totally in love with him, and he had no idea. I kept telling his Aunt Corinne, who was my Laural's leader to have him ask me out. You have to understand that I was only 16 and Troy was 20. There was not a very good chance of him asking me out. Every Sunday I would sit in church and stare at him. Little did he know! So Troy ended up needing a date for a Sawer Brown concert and asked his Aunt Corinne if she knew anybody he could take at the last minute. She suggested me, bless her soul. Troy had no idea who I even was. He actually thought I was another girl from the ward who was older. The night he called and asked me out, I just about died. Of course I said yes, but I floored him by telling him that he could not pick me up until 5:30 pm because I had drivers ed. He just about died! Here he was a sophomore in college and he had just asked someone out who was taking drivers ed. You have to admit, it is pretty funny.

The night of the 11th he came and picked me up and took me to the concert. That night on our very first date I told him I could not marry him until he served a mission. He was thinking I was a little wack in the head. He told me he was not going to serve a mission because he had his life planned out and that it involved finishing school. I thought for sure he was never again going to speak to me let alone ask me out. Three days later he called and asked me out, and from day on we were in-love and inseparable.

Our very first date was February 11th and buy June he had left on the mission that he said he would never serve. We got married 2 months and two days after he got home from his mission. See what one little date and a very obsessed little girl could do to a big guy like Troy.

Now we both look back seventeen years and just laugh. We were both young, in-love and totally naive! We have blessed beyond anything because Troy served a mission. We have had almost 15 years of marriage and 5 beautiful children. It has not always been easy or fun, but it is all worth every second of it. That young 16 year old little girl that I used to be sure did know how to pick one great guy. Little did he know that by asking me out I completely changed his life. I love him with everything that is in me. Happy Anniversary Honey!

Klondike

The Klondike was held at Hyde Park up by Santa Fe.

Mush, mush.

Logan's scout troop had their Klondike this weekend. Plenty of snow and lots of fun.
